Brand identity, illustrations, logo design
Haus FM sought a complete visual identity, including a logo, color palette, and illustrations that would vividly represent electronic music. The logo and color scheme were crafted to capture the essence of the genre. The feature illustration, designed to be an art piece on the landing page, serves as a visual focal point. Additionally, the secondary illustrations were created to align with the geographical origins of the featured music, adding a nuanced and location-specific dimension to the visual elements.
The feature illustration skillfully captures the dynamic essence of music through fluid, flowing lines—an emblematic motif for the brand. Infused with bold and futuristic primary colors, the visual identity resonates with an unmistakable electronic vibe.
For the logo, I employed and modified the Neuropol X typeface. Its rounded and soft edges harmonize seamlessly with the flowing lines and dot motif evident in the feature illustration, contributing to a cohesive and visually appealing design.
The secondary illustrations draw inspiration from the three key cities highlighted on Haus FM: the iconic skyscraper skyline of New York, the bold and hard-edged structures of Berlin, and the intricate underground tube system of London. Beyond their geographical representation, each illustration carries a dual significance, symbolizing elements intrinsic to music. The skyline mirrors electronic music dynamics, the block buildings double as speakers, and the underground system signifies the nuanced start and stop dynamics found in music tracks.
